Search engines are often unhelpful unfortunately though not through their own fault. There simply isn't a lot of resources online for vintage radios especially rare receivers like the Breville one you featured.
It's a nice-looking unit and I hope someone can help you get it going again.

I got onto head tech at breville/phillips who did a bit of searching for me and the only info he could come up with was that it was made between 1950 and 1955 and they only made about 1000 then around 55-60 they changed there badgeing to precedent thats all he could come up with

I think his information has some errors. No Australian made TV's were built/sold to the public prior to 1956.
The link on the right of this web page has a link called "The survivors - Where are they now?" It has a brief history about Breville. It seems Breville became the Precedent TV brand so any TV chassis information will be found under Precedent.

As for Precedent brand, the HRSA has that brand of radio listed as being produced by AW Jackson Sydney (1954-1955). Prior to that they have the Precedent brand listed as Firth Bros P/L of Melbourne (1933-1935).
This article in Silicon Chip says: "A. W. Jackson Industries of Sydney produced Precedent radios and B & W TV receivers from the 1950s until somewhere about 1975, when colour TV was introduced into Australia."
http://www.siliconchip.com.au/cms/A_30811/article.html.
And here is a Precedent 3-in-one at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney:

Re:
"also does anyone have a breville radio as I'm missing a dial  should I chang to a full set that is close or try and wait till I find the original?"
... I suggest that you make a new thread about that in the Wanted or For Sale section, and a photo or valve line up would be helpful in identifying which particular Breville model you have.

The link I was referring to about Breville-Precedent is under the Tutorials and Articles section on this forum.
While experimental transmissions have occurred prior to 1956, they were intended as experimental only, so the receivers were prototypes. They were not intended for general broadcast to the public, only to a limited number of people.
The earliest Australian made production model sets you are ever going to find will date to late 1955 or 1956. Some earlier sets may turn up but they will be privately imported TV's made overseas.
I'd guess your Breville TV would have been built around 1957 to 1958.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I am willing to help ID your TV's but I cannot do so without pictures of the chassis or some other information to help.
I am trying to build a database of known TV models but with several hundred different models produced and only around 80 identified by photographs, I still have a long way to go before it is complete.

Hi TV Collector and other readers,
It`s not a long way! There was an australian web-site about
5 years ago, it covered the source you need.
I printed out the hole site, but I am missing the Kriesler-pages, now.
All listed TVs were produced from 1956 up into the 70s.
Nothing from before 1956.
I tried to contact the chap 2 times, but never got an answer.
Then the site disappeared.
I can scan the pages in and email them.
The data base is made of catalogues, giving pictures, available
colours and the year of production.
It will be very good, to count the survivors of the 50s in the
collector scene and museums!
What is existing now, at club-member houses or non registered
collectors like me.
I own 4 australian 50s TV-sets, all are 43cm/70-degree sets.
Two of them are consoles.
Best regards from Germany,
MonsieurTelevision

If you want to access an old website you can visit the Wayback Machine at http://archive.org/ and type in the URL of the old website in the form on the Wayback Machine site.
In most cases photos and site images don't load but in some cases photos do appear. It's a case of pot luck.
This is one example of where most photos and site images do work though it is up to the archive site and not the archived site as to whether photos are saved or not.
