Hello everyone, I have small (9) collection of radios, and for my birthday yesterday, my parents indulged me and bought me a 'Kriesler Silver Anniversary' radio. It appears to be in good condition, but I can't get it to work! It powers up, but at present, I can only receive static. As I live in the Bendigo area, I was hoping that someone on this forum would be able to recommend somewhere I could take the radio to get it returned to working order. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Interesting: I have two radios from that area here currently and have repaired a couple of others from that area.

Repairers may be thin on the ground?

Static is not unusual if its been left a long time & the common reason for it being abandoned would be it breaking down.

Marc
