Some time (in 2006) i've placed ont this site an request to receive some information about this radio. I received an answer from Brad (thanks for that).

Reply from Brad :

G'day Jan,

I've never seen that model before. Because of Australia's fairly small population in the valve era, smaller manufacturers like Mullard often had sets constructed by the bigger companies who then added the badges of the smaller companies to the sets. The first Mullard sets here were made by Airzone and rebadged. Later when Philips bought into Mullard, all Mullard sets were rebadged Philips ones and this is when Australian Mullards started looking like their overseas cousins.

See this link for the picture of this radio : http://home.tiscali.nl/~jsmit/mullard.htm

Perhaps someone can tell me in which year this radio was made, which lightbulb was used for lighting the dial skale. I'm missing the record player for this radio. Perhaps someone can send me a picture of the record player.

Thanks for your reply.
