Hey all,

Have a chassis that came out of this radio

N02/5160947898/in/set-72157625346132024/" title="Image link supplied by Dial Cover Guy">Image Link

I have searched all over for any markers that would lead me in the right direction. The only mark is a stamp on the back with the number 1120, but I think that might be a serial number, could be wrong though. Here are some pics of the chassis

I have a feeling that its an Aristone but I hope someone can help.

Thanks in advance.

Peter

Edit: Brad dont seem to be able to get the Image Link thing working properly.

G'day Peter,

There is a bug caused by Flickr's strange query strings (the portion of the address after the URL). These forums filter the . sign in e-mail addresses to try and stop spam bots scanning the comment areas for e-mail addresses to spam however this was interfering with the . sign located in the addresses you posted.

I've done a temporary fix and will try and work out something more permanent over the weekend so the anti-spam measure can be re-enabled. Wink

All links should work now.

Re: The radio, is it not a Televerta?

Thanks for the link Brad.

If you check out page 128 and 129 of Radio days you will see an aristone with the same set up. If it is either an Aristone or other, a model number, schematic or other clues would be fantastic.

Peter

Hi Peter
I have just checked my Tela Verta and the chassis layout is quite different. The cabinet was used by a few manufacturers, probably with relatively small runs, so good luck!

Regards
Harold

Harold,

Thanks.

Well I can rule out Tele Verta as you and Brad have confirmed, so I'm leaning towards Aristone for the moment. Midlands and Mendelson were the other 2 that I can think of that also made the same chassis to fit into the caravan.

Cheers
Peter
