I just bought a TV console from EBAY.
The last shipper , Maltacourt(2 shippings, one good done, one bad)
doesn`t want to do it anymore.
Who knows a crater and freight-company to ship the
TV by air?
THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!!

Someone close to home... DHL should be able to do it for you as they are a German company but have operations here.

Hi Brad,
No, DHL cannot do this because of weight and size.
Are you able to check the yellow pages for any international airfreight company which allows private stuff?
Since 9/11, since islamic bastards declared war again Christians it is difficult to ship used electronics from
private to private.
Just because I am german (Germany is still sponsering the european islamisation with millions) it is difficult.
The german "Bundespresident" just said that the Islam is a part of the german culture!
You have to see the waves now in the country!
I used always companies from foreign countries, when I bought vintage electronics in Chile, Argentina, USA, and Australia.
Brasil is totally locked to me!
It is impossible to buy vintage TVs there.
best regards from Germany

United Parcel Service and TNT (once an Australian company but now Dutch) offer worldwide service. Failing that you may have to ring one of the airlines. I know QANTAS carries cargo but I don't know under what conditions.
I think failing that you may have to get the receiver disassembled, packed into smaller crates and airlifted that way and I don't think it will be inexpensive.
One other alternative is seamail but you could be waiting several months for the set to arrive.

Monsieur Television
Have you had any success finding someone that can help you with this shipping?
If not, I might be able to assist, as my company is a Customs & Freight brokerage. If you still need help, please send me an e-mail at info lighthouseagencies.com.au
I will need the dimensions, weight, and current location of the unit.
Regards
IanH

Hi IanH,
Many thanks for your feedback!
The set is on the way, but for future deals I will contact you.
Anyway, are you able to asstist me with shippings from
Brasil, Venezuela and Argentina?
Once I had a guy who shipped 2 TV-sets from Argentina,
but the third set and the shipping money he kept!!!!!
Brasil is a big problem, I asked many companies, but it
has to do with customs-problems to ship used TV sets.
The sender has to be a company - any.
I allow to kill the CRTs, if this is a security problem.
Shipping by sea or air is fine.
Since the new attacks of the islamic world against us,
I see new problems coming up.
Best regards from Germany!

Monsieur television,
a little while ago I put a request regarding a saba freiburg w3
you had replied to me regarding a schematic....
i have since found out that the problem with this set, is that all 4 or 5 intermediate frequency transmitters are gone...apparently.
i am assuming you know quite a lot about these radios and I am hoping you might have or know, where I might acquire any of these parts, given the fact that you are also located in germany?
i believe it is an earlier set as per link below:
http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/saba_freiburg_w_iii_3.html
any information will be welcome ....
email: met9 optusnet.com.au
cheers
marc
