"only" appears twice in the same sentence. They sure know how to get the message across and "Delivery" isn't a proper noun.

The only good thing about spam is that it is easy to pick up with the litany of errors in spelling and grammar. The bloke clearly isn't that clued up on Australia's monetary system either. As far as I know, cheques have gone the way of the dodo bird.

Of course it's full of the usual grammatical quirks/errors, but I haven't seen 'phishing' spam email like this for quite a long time. Not sure how this one managed to slip through my ISP's blocker.

Doing well this week: One fake (of many) Telstra bill; Two wanting to update the website I don't have; The usual copycats trying to update my non-existent flybuys a/c; Daily events all off your Telstra site.

Then an email from them claiming they cannot contact me on the mobile I am complaining about for no signal: You cannot make that up.

Always check the email for its origin: Totally agree the grammar and spelling is normally, "a-tro-shus".

Despite the adds, the money seems to be spent on the adds not on the eradication system they claim to have. Perhaps we should eradicate them. Talkback likes the idea.

Cheques are still around, but rarely used. I use exactly one per year.

I get lots of email spam too, but it's obvious there's no effort put into trying to trick me. Must be meant for those who deserve it.

I get unsolicited calls too, but the phone helpfully indicates they are spam. And lastly, Telstra will now indicate which SMS's are not sent from an authorised number.

For those of you who are having issues with receiving Spam and Phishing type emails as others have noted generally its easy to see through the ruse and delete the things.

My email and other personal details were leaked in that Optus hack a while back even though I had long since ceased being an Optus customer my info they still kept on their system so when the hackers got into them my info and heaps of others all ended up on the dark web.

For the past 18 months I would get about 7-8 Spam/Phishing type emails every day and was driving me nuts deleting the things, marking them as Junk and hope they hit the Junk folder mostly to no avail at all. They just on coming.... Grrrrr.

Over a period of a few days I reported 8 different Scams all from different "alleged" Email Addresses posing as different genuine Aust businesses.

Result has been that I am no longer getting ANY Spam or Phishing type emails...they have stopped completely so whatever action
Scam watch took has worked.

Filling out the Scam watch report is rather tedious but boy its well worth the time doing so!!!

Never really had any positive results from Scam watch nor Telstra. I get the bill sent snail mail as I get off their network several fake ones, often daily. Fly buy is the latest one to two daily and I have no account.

You just have to pay attention to where it came from, like Centrelink is not in Japan and some spelling is atrocious.

I've had plenty of flybuys ones recently as well, and I'm not a member. There's also a lot pretending to be Centrelink as well. The senders email address is not from those places but instead some random thing from overseas. And of course, pointing at the link they want you to click on shows something else from overseas, They always include a link, and you must never click on it. Some of the sneakier ones even include a link for unsubscribing, and it also goes to the dodgy site.

As Marcc says, the spelling and grammar are terrible. Or they use strange fonts in the message name to bypass filters, Some of really dreadful ones have a bunch of white space under the message, and if you scroll all the way to the end, you find a different unrelated email complete with people's names (not yours).

Fly Buys copycats are still popping up. I mean.. when you get four Fly Buys emails from four different people; really, they're tripping over one another.

I received a call from 02 8390 1700 yesterday and an English voice said to press 1 for Mandarin and 2 for English. I thought "Here we go, let's have some fun" so I pressed 2 and was greeted with an Asian voice saying "Nǐ hǎo". I replied "Hello" and then came the click.

Idiot scammers can't even get their language choice greeting messages right.

One of the many reverse lookup sites for phone numbers reports it as a spammer but there are no details on what they want. I guess none of the targets were Chinese.
