Hey guys

I thought I might share this little bit of fun with you. This is what I do with broken cases. I love experimenting with repairs especially if the case cannot really be passed off as a original. I actually recolour them because I like to and also to prevent them from being resold to unsuspecting collectors.
This took me weeks to do as I am not a patient person I feel the best way to do this is to get it to a stage where I need to walk away and let the paint dry before I proceed. This little set was repaired with the carcasses of two radios and performs very well. The Knobs on it are my own 3D printed versions from the later Champion 4. Its actually a hot point.

I actually used Septone acrylic spray putty over undercoat and it worked exceptionally well.

Thats exactly what a lot of my radios are.
Re- coloured, repaired, and resurrected from bodies that other wise would end up in the ground.
