Hi

Bit of a longshot, as there must have been several models to cover various parts of the world, but here goes:-

I need a good quality image of the dial of the U76 radio to print and replace that on the dial glass on mine which has flaked badly, as shown in the attached photo. (An image of the UK radio is shown just to id the model, but the dial there is the UK version).

I have seen one non-uk market example but that had two viewing slots rather than a central one as in mine.

Any help greatly appreciated.

We didn't see UK export models in Oz due to tariffs.
Only a few may have been brought in by 10 pound Poms.
Ekco had a factory here in the 50s, the radios they made were local designs.

Good luck in your search.

I used to re-create dial artwork by overlaying an image of the best I could get and adding new text as vector mapped fonts. I used Open Office Draw.
If you've ever seen an Oz radio dial you'd know just how tedious that was!

Photos uploaded.

I did a quick look-see. NZ had a version of this model but as Ian mentioned, we didn't appear to.

A valve a day keeps the transistor away...

Do you want a scan of the UK dial or another country? Its not clear from your post.

This Thread on UKRRR forum may well be what you seek.
