I have not much of an idea about vintage radio.
I recently got hold of the above model. It is a timber box with the radio in the front, AM only. There is a turntable behind it and the top lid needs to be lifted. crafted in GB by BSR. BOTH SEEM BE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER
I looked for the model on google but can't find it.
I'd like to find out a bit more about it, in particular how old it would be.

Hi there

Looking through the AORSM Lists I found this about your radio.

STC 1955 5154/1
AC BC RG 5 455
12AH8, 6BA6, 6AT6 or 6AV6, 6BW6, 6X4
AORSM '55 297

To decode this:
made in 1955
AC only, Broadcast only, Radiogram, 5 Valves, IF 455kHz
Valves used
Publication of diagram and information!

I don't have this cct but someone out there might.
You can find the information that posted on the HRSA website http://www.hrsa.asn.au/

Hope this helps

Daniel
