Hi all.

I picked up at a local auction a small (About 10 watts) Valve amp.

I have traced out both of the Chassis including the power supply and have come up with a few strange things.

If you look at my attached picture link (right click and open in a new window)
Image Link, Why would there be (In Purple) a 10K resistor between the HT supply (300v) and the positive side of the OP.


What do people think of the cct. I have had it running for a min just to see if it worked after replacing all old paper caps and a few resistors that were out of tolerance.
