Post counter not working

I've noticed in the last two days that post counter is not advancing as I make new posts to the forums. This is not limited to only me. I am stuck on 388 posts. It does not advance. It's working for me. Maybe it is getting stuck only on one forum? If so, let me know which and I will try and sort it out. About ten yeas ago (I think) there was a big issue with it which I managed to fix but it was going to be an uphill battle to zero and then retally everyone's count. I vaguely remember writing a script to count everyone's posts and apply the count correctly to each account. Due to the passage of time, I doubt I'd remember where that script is. ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ A valve a day keeps the transistor away...

GTC, I have three posts logged as No.389, and another member has three posts logged as No 2483, in the Vintage Television forum. I guess that it isn't vital to world harmony, But.....it would be nice if it worked. Wayne Oh. The posts aren't numbered. The number is the total you've posted, so will be the same on every post you make. At the moment your posts show 390, because that's how many you've made over your lifetime here.

I think that I see what Robbert is saying. As a new post is made, all older posts are updated to reflect the new total? Anyway it is not the end of the world. I am a bit worried about Putin however. I am a bit worried about Putin however He is currently the most unhinged world leader out there. Far worse and more unstable than Chairman Xi and Chairman Kim put together. We are indeed living in uncertain times. Labrat: Thinking about it, I think I know what may be causing the confusion. Yes, it is the case that a member's total post count shows in every comment. The stats below usernames is drawn from each member's profile and will say the same thing above each comment made.
