A lifetimes collection that I had seen most of (that was not at the bottom of the pile). Unbelievable how most of it was in a house

Some people just make it their life's work to have as much as possible, even when they know it'll never get used.

What breaks me up is the auctioneer calling valve radios "transistors". I reckon it'll pass though, as those who know what they want will work it out quick enough.

A valve a day keeps the transistor away...

Mark my words as President of a Vintage radio club I have made a point that there could very likely be recourse, for selling stuff with a false description, accidental or not.

What makes it worse, is one of the rellies of the deceased who was cleaning up this mess: In which there was some really valuable stuff. Claimed he was tech savvy. So how did this happen?

The deceased was a tech so anything he did in the way of repair, would be done properly.
