it was quicker for me to walk from Circular Quay to Druitt Street than get the bus that far.

For a time I used to commute to circular quay by ferry and I could also walk up George St to Martin Place quicker than the buses choked by traffic and held up by stops (long before buses had right of way). The bus would pass me and then I would walk past it. I used to pity the conductors on those crowded buses as they had to push their way through standing passengers to collect fares.

I used to marvel at the way Joe would describe products. If something was otherwise unremarkable he'd say "And look here at the brass screws. Now that's quality for you!"

Not much of Joe online, apart from this collection of bloopers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qld7KYNVwbc

your google map link doesn't work.

It's gone bizarre from what I posted. I've replaced it with a 'tiny URL'. Try that.
