Due to missing avatars messing with the site's layout, I have started a cleanup of links to the vacuum of cyberspace and have spent some time deleting avatar links which don't go anywhere. There are three ways to link to an avatar:-

1. Let this site host it for you. This is the safest way, as your avatar will be here for the lift of this website, whatever that may end up being.
2. Host it from your own webspace or an image hosting service. This is traditionally the least best method. Perfectly fine if that is a member's choice but the member is responsible for maintaining a valid link to the avatar.
3. Use Gravatar. Gravatar is a free avatar hosting service and Vintage Radio is compatible with it. If you use your Gravatar account e-mail address as your member contact e-mail here, there is no need to provide a URL - Vintage Radio will link to Gravatar automatically.

My avatar shows correctly, however members avatars do not show on our profiles, with the exception of your koala.

Is this worth looking at?

I can see the avatars of all members in their profiles, excepting those that are hosted by gravitar.

Okay, that bug should be fixed now. Please check when you have time.

I wonder how many years that has been like that... I haven't done that much coding on this site for several years and it makes me wonder if it has always been that way.
