Hello, all.

I am hoping one of you would know if this would be worth anything orr not. It was given to me by my dad, a few years back, and I very much doubt he will be wanting to use it, and I have no intention of using it.

The item is a Signal Generator the only markings on it are...

RID 69
Model 205
Signal Generator
D.C.A.IDENT Y10/591
Serial No. 108
Designed & Built by
R.A. RATCLIFFE
Sydney N.S.W.

Other than that I cannot find any useful information about it on the internet.

I don't have a lot of experience with vintage test equipment but I would suggest that this item is at least forty years old. I'd suggest a value of around $150.00 if it is in working order or requires only a simple repair to get going.

A valve a day keeps the transistor away...

Part of it looks like a dead givaway

DCA Identity number says to me that it once belonged to the former Department of Civil Aviation.

It may well have been custom made for DCA by the person mentioned
