Amazing as to what you can find at times. A Philips "High Tension Supply Unit 3003" followed me home. I will need to get a decent circuit for it ; I cleaned the dust off it & opened it up. It looks unmolested. The 506 rectifier has a loose base, that has been dealt with & its sitting in a valve tester.

Very well preserved unit. I expect the caps to be cactus, however, no sign of abuse, cabinet only has surface rust & missing feet?

Highly confident it will do more than be a shelf queen. Primary is not open nor does it show earth leakage all secondaries seem ok. Good start.
