Anyone got a spare signal generator they'd be prepared to part with?

I'm looking for an accurate, stable HF / VHF signal generator.
It needs to be better than the WW2 vintage AWA I have! That's about as stable as New Zealand!
Accuracy and set-ability to at least 6 decimal places is what I'm looking for.

Anyone got one they'd be prepared to sell? I'm not looking for a cheap item, good ones don't come cheap.
And it doesn't have to be working.

My email is unhidden....

Good luck,

I reckon you have three chances; fat, Buckleys and none.

Seriously, I have been after a valve communications receiver with long wave band/s for many years.

Nothing in this country mate. The best hope is the USA, and I have not had the guts to click "buy" so far, but very tempted. Those guys got quality gear one only dreams about. Should you find one locally, perhaps you could post details?

Saw this on eBay which you might consider.

I'm not too sure Relayautomatic. It sounds impressive, but I can't see a manufacturers name, and the country of origin rings alarm bells.

Nevertheless, for the price, who knows, it may be a bargain, especially for beginners wanting an entry priced item for SDR experimenting.
