Yes from time to time. I'm sure Brad will fix it eventually.

Given that this problem has been extant for a long time, and may never be addressed in software, I'm wondering if daily reboots of the server and/or the application may keep it at bay. Maybe a timer to do that automatically during the wee hours.

On Friday night it was bad. I made a few network changes which have improved things a bit. I haven't bumped into any 500 errors since then and the pages have loaded for me as well as they have for a long time. I'll keep an eye on things but unfortunately Windows logging tends to say very little when things aren't so good.

Error 500 can easily be provoked in a number of ways. I got one at 1:09, then another at 1:16 . I went to the workshop to work on the broken vacuum cleaner, now I came back and wrote this.

I can create an error 500 pretty much any time you want.

I note that when one posts it may post but the screen hangs and the only way to refresh is to exit & reload & it just did it again.

There is no guarantee it will load in the first place.

Oh that's nothing to worry about.
Facebook had an outage the other day and the cost for every hour it was down was 2.4 billion per hour hahaha.
We were all laughing about it on my site .Makes working for a living at an hourly rate seem pointless..
The modern world is a strange place to make money....Pete......

"Oh, all I did was change the icon graphic to the new one"!

The joys of script languages. Very easy to learn. Also very easy to make disastrous mistakes.
