That guy has no idea.

I've got one like that, and when the time comes I'll be most likely giving it away. And the radio part even works.

I feel your pain.
Ridiculous prices are being asked for things hardly worthy of being parts donors.
There has been an open reel video recorder on Flea bay for more than a year. at $3,000.00
I have the same model but not complete. I need a parts donor, but as I do this as a hobby and not for profit, my outfit will have to remain a static display.
