 XP computer used for viewing AROSM CD

Not quite. Your internet box also has at least one spare ethernet socket. Connect it directly to the ethernet socket on your computer.

A wired connection is always more reliable.

OK yes it does it always has worked that way. It is just inconvenient to use it where the box is Situated I wanted to use it on the dining room table not in the spare room. However it no longer matters I now have the AROSM CD working well on the windows 7 laptop which works well on WiFi can view and print circuits very happy with the result.
