Just fired up the GME Electrophone CB this arvo and I've been able to hear people as far away as Adelaide and Hobart!
Really good DX action at the moment for anyone interested.
Apparently Someone heard transmissions from America in channel 38 yesterday morning so who knows what's possible.
Most action on 35 LSB

Would also be great conditions for DX TV - if that were still possible.

No Band 1, no analogue,

Anyone know what is happening on Band 1?

G'day Ian,

Interesting enough I was talking to my dad today about how upset people were when channel 0 moved to 10
Just because it was the lowest frequency channel and got into areas others wouldn't

TVQ (I think) Brisbane used to be on Ch 0. They had the biggest tower in those days with a huge (because of the low frequency) stacked array atop it.

TVQ on Ch 0 was receivable well into NSW - the only Brisbane channel that was, going by the number of Ch 0 yagis pointed north in those days.
