I wasn’t aware of the 2BH studios last time I was in Broken Hill. Was just listening to 2SM where mention was made of their sister station in a ‘radio’ building. Will have to take a few snaps next time I am there...

Only 500 watts, won't pick it up here! Building is a "modern replica" though.

Pity they didn't copy a real radio. A lost opportunity to do something really amazing.

2BH shares the same frequency as 2YA (RNZ National) Wellington, NZ.

Years ago I was camping on the Edward River near Moulamein, NSW. During the day I could sometimes receive 2BH faintly on the car radio. Come nighttime though the 2BH signal would be overwhelmed by 2YA, which at one stage had the most powerful broadcast transmitter in the southern hemisphere.

Yes RNZ is often receivable at night.

Tried listening, all I got was a NZ station at about strength 9, which I assume is 2YA.
