Went there today, last time was eons ago.

Highly recommended! Sadly Ian is no longer with us but his wife Pat does a fantastic job showing visitors around this extraordinary collection. Allow the best part of a day to see it all.

Open on weekends or by arrangement.

Ian O'Toole has passed away? When did that happen?

Pat didn't say. Must have been recent...

I just checked and I last got an email from him on 5th June.

Must have been recent and very sad to hear Ian now deceased. A great loss. Some friends and I went there a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

A marvellous collection and glad to hear Pat is keeping the museum running.

RIP Ian.

I have been advised by the President of the HRSA (NSW) that Ian "is most certainly alive but dealing with some family issues".

So that's very good news. The fact that I hadn't heard anything about his passing from various sources had me quite puzzled.

Oh, OK. That explains it. The exact words used were "no longer with us" and the sad expression said the rest, so much so that I didn't take it further.

Good to hear that the news of Ian's death is "greatly exaggerated". Ian should also know that he is greatly missed, if that helps.
