The weather is so bad here this weekend ,I went down to JB and picked up some old black white moves to watch on my old TV this weekend.
Box set cost me $24 bucks.

1941 to 47..
49th Parallel.
We dive at Dawn .
Brief encounter.
Secret mission.
The life and death of Colonel Blimp.
Black Narcissus.
Pretty good for $24.
That's what I'll be doing until the sun comes out again.

Pete

Some great choices there Pete

I've watched the 49th Parallel & Brief Encouter on my 58" HMV

"The Life & Death of Colonel Blimp" and "The Black Narcissus" are beautiful 3 strip technicolour films so should be enjoyed on your colour set

Hello Steve, well I don't need to tell you how bad the weather is today in Albury do I .
I've always liked old movies and I really need some time out.
The vintage TV sites are all dead this weekend and no new posts so it's a good time to watch movies.
Hope ya well over the hill, pete
