Yes, it has been a trying three days, with a lack of communication from the provider just adding to my grey hair and wrinkles - none of which I need right now.

I tore into them yesterday and was about to escalate the language used when I got home from work but as it turns out, they finally fixed their crummy server. At some stage it looks like the site was shifted from Perth to Sydney and I'd bet my left one that this is when the problem started. Mind you, I don't mind the site being back in Eastern Standard Time but it looks like the migration didn't go the way it should have.

My take on it all is this - if this site can work on the piddly server I used to self-host this site on with no real dramas aside from a disc failure about ten years ago then it should work just as good on enterprise-grade equipment with double everything and trained professionals on hand to fix dramas quickly. Maybe I am expecting too much. Perplexed

A valve a day keeps the transistor away...
