With those numbers pouring in its going to be very hard to ever slow it down. We now have 10,810 cases.
I can see why people are heading to Queensland etc etc.... Here in Albury people you speak too are aware of many people getting over the border. How I'm not sure .hard to enforce I guess.

Pete, people that jump borders are exactly the type that spread it because they are self righteous idiots or lame brains.
Just look at America. Led by one, so the lame brains act like him.
Typical alpha male, big noise, big man, but push somewhen else forward if there is a whiff of danger!

Back in the real world it only takes one Toorak Tourist to cough their way around the state, like we have just seen and bingo!
Government needs to shut down the gyms, clubs and pubs again because of nitwits like that.
Apart from a drug dealer, who on earth needs to go to a whole string of gyms, pubs, casinos and clubs between Melbourne and Sydney?
More to that one Super Carrier than we have heard.

Fred.

Fred, yes it's a real shame because we were doing so well before. I read that the doctors want full lockdown again so they will have to argue that out with the government .. the doctors feel it's the only way to cope with the amount of people needing to be put into hospital...plus now the doctors and nurses are catching it..
All this and China did not even go into recession

There are now cases very close to us here in Dapto I believe started by that Victorian that went visiting local pubs. If that is the case he really should be charged with a very serious offence maybe that might serve as an example.

Pubs should not be open it's absolutely stupid.
We have areas where people can't even leave their home ,but the government let's the pubs open ???? Plus I believe the football is ok too?
In fact I think our Fuhrer attended a match.
It's quite hypocritical the rules and if we want to save lives we need to get serious .

No wonder I'm going Grey ! I was just chatting to the Wife just then !! who is overseas and staying with her Dad who is not well , Its tiny street and about 100 meters long and one of the neighbours has coronavirus .. In the past even if a flu gets in that street they all get it ..They all shop at the little shop and local market around the corner .

Let's hope that it doesn't get to that stage.

When you as a Farmer, a person who has worked in a laundry that washed Hospital stuff, the food industry as a cleaner between jobs, Viticulture, plus spent most of my time working in chemistry.

I can only despair at the incompetence. We seem to have academics running the show and people including academics with absolutely no practical skills administering it. This is why its running amok.

You will note that no one from Farming; Horticulture; Viticulture; Veterinary, & associated industries seem to have been consulted. Likely because Chairman Dan does not recognise anything the other side of "Pretty Sally" as I have said many times.

We are the people that deal with Pathogen, control 24/7. I have said before there should not be one vehicle passing through the "Rabbit Proof" fence around Melbourne, without going through a disinfecting process, of particularly wheels subframe & driver footwear & footwells. We can run the great unwashed through a "sheep dip".

Oh Thank you Jim ,,Bit of luck and they may dodge it .. Over there is not like here and they live in each others pockets , It common for the people in the street to all eat together etc etc My wifes mum Runs the Bakery in the street ,But she is older now and only opens 2 days per week ,but its closed off and down since someone in that street caught the virus .Their a funny lot the phils and are not really like western people in many ways . Family is the most important thing to them so they have huge get togethers and putting the grandmother or any old person in a home is unheard of there .... They tend to look after each other ...But its a easy place to get sick or catch nasty bugs , I first went there when I was 21 so I know how it works over there..

Pete
