And now for the next thing ...

QUOTE: A new strain of the H1N1 swine flu virus is spreading in workers on pig farms in China and should be urgently controlled to avoid another pandemic, a team of scientists says.

H1N1 is highly transmissible and spread around the world in 2009, killing about 285,000 people and morphing into seasonal flu.

Yes I read that on the news , So now we have the Coronavirus , swine Flu and what their now calling a looming Depression,
What bloody mess and it will also be affecting our Mental heath, I noticed it with myself in lockdown that left me feeling negative being at home all the time and a cut off from the world.

This year's flu vaccine does protect against what I usually call pig flu as I hate the word swine but this is a new strain so it is uncertain as to whether those who have had flu shots (I have) will be protected or not.

One thing we have in our favour at the moment is that international travel is almost non-existent, though the few that are travelling are required to quarantine. So they should be tested for H1N1 and the Novel Coronavirus at the same time, twice it needed.

Pete, do not sweat it!
I'm 76 and seen a lot of crap over the years.
My grandparents and parents went through slightly tougher times through the late 1800's, 1900's and were interesting to talk to about life before they shipped out. They made their way through by looking forward, not back, and doing stuff for themselves, that is they made it happen.
They did not wait for some government to do it for them!

All our family are "lifters not leaners" as the saying goes.
Too many wastes of space of all types I see, blaming everybody else for their perceived woes.
They bunch around the Cities and demonstrate with their looney low IQ mates and useless Uni students.
Look at the lot of useless sods in inner Sydney, rainbow fairys, dead end losers, you name it.

You are doing ok mate, just keep going and doing stuff and the rest falls into place, forward Ho!

Fred.

Most of the cases were people returning back to OZ , But many refuse to be tested for Coronavirus, So if they rfuse to be tested than quarantine is increased to 30 days , But still not forced to be tested . The extra cost is costing them just under $3000 Plus the original $2500 for the 14 day stay ... pain in the ass they are, If they come home they should just take the test and do the right thing.

We are all set up for any Swine Virus. Chairman Dan has State Parks full of Pigs & Feral animals to spread it around Victoria like a wildfire.
