For creating PDFs, a lot of software now includes this functionality. Open Office makes particularly clean, compact and compatible PDFs.

But Win 10 seems to now come with a PDF printer that is one of the printers that shows up when you open the print dialogue. It seems to work OK too, I've been using it to generate PDF copies of schematics from an early version of Protel I'm using while in lockdown at home..

Now that Australia, due to Greenies, probably holds the world record for killing the most furry animals in a singe event, since the extinction of the dinosaurs. Perhaps we do something like the WW1 thing. When there is a fire burning in the overburden they caused we ban all ways and their evacuation centres making Latte and force them to the fire front to undo their handy work.

Should be a rude awakening & thin em out. Why should others die because of their stupidity?

At Hilltop for a couple of days. When I turned some of the spare Win 7 machines, there was an optional windows update to install Edge. So I let it happen. After rebooting and setting it up, click on About, and there's new updates for it already.

Microsoft have changed it so that the new Edge is selected by default on Win7 now.

So I let it install on the 2 internet-facing machines here.

The Left has a go at Coon cheese every second year because it fits into their warped social engineering agenda.

Well, it had to happen. A handful of people make a noise and the Canucks duck for cover:

QUOTE: Coon cheese's name will be changed after a campaign by activists who said it had racist connotations.

Coon's owners, [Canadian] dairy products company Saputo, confirmed the change today after being written a letter of complaint in June by activist Stephen Hagan, who has been fighting for 20 years to have the name changed.

"I said that the cheese brand was offensive, I said that it demeans people of colour," Dr Hagan told the ABC on Friday.

"I said that it was unacceptable as a brand in 2020."

So, woe betide any of the 100 or so people in the phone directory with the surname Coon (not to mention Khun) who may choose to use their family name in a company's title or product going forward.

It would serve this dope right if the term 'hagan' suddenly became politically incorrect.

It will if I have anything to say about it. Haganing means being a fool.

The company that owns the Coon brand these days will be off my list, assuming that I unknowingly buy any of their products in the first place. Saputo will join Qantas and Gillette as companies I don't buy from.

What are they going to change this long-established brand to and how would they communicate it to those still wishing to buy it? However it is managed, the company will look as woke as they are.

In a thread on this subject at The Australian today I was locked in a debate with one of the perpetually outraged on Coon and I said "What about Skippy Cornflakes?". As most will remember, the term "Skippy" is a derogatory term thrown at anglo-saxon Australians by ethnics, yet we don't go around begging for the term "Skippy" to be wiped out.

I got no reply.
