No more Nitro. There is only 5 Cans left in Oz of wattyl...
I scored 2 so now there is only 3 left.
No more production ! End of the line.
So ,if you need Nitro email me and I will tell where you can buy imported nitro that seems to got around the environment rules somehow.

If you have a old radio that needs re finishing.
You can NOT put any other finish on it ,unless all the old finish is removed.
This is because Nitro is forever moving and any finish you put on top of it would crack.
So this is important information if you are planning to restore or refresh a original radio.
I can get an American brand in one Lt.....but no wattyl nitro any more unfortunately.
I have 8lts for my own projects only.

Pete

The last 3 cans are in WA if someone wants those

What names did wattyl have it under?
I might check around my area and see if I can hunt some down

Hi Lance,
None in Vic , that's where I got mine, I know the Rep...its only 3 in WA.
People may not understand the importance of it. You can't re activate an old radio finish without it and you can't put a finish over it, without removing it completely
But at this stage I can get American stuff , although I have not used it....I've used wattyl for 20 years.
