Pissed off I am , These people who work with the public who continue to go to work sick must be completely Ignorant!
There I was getting served by this guy who breaks up into a Coughing fit while he was serving me and the smell of throat lozenges filled the Air ..This old soldier on attitude is for selfish buggers that don't give a Rats ass about anything other than their bank account ...
Well the next 14 days I will be thinking and waiting !!!

Yeh I left work a couple of months ago for that exact reason. I was in a factory and they allowed a young fella come to work sick after being to new zealand and it turns out he had no sick days left and I said AND? whats that got to do with me. You should not be at work and dont come near me cock. Then 2 days later( and this is when the china virus was rising in numbers) another bloke came in who had been to melb and came in with cabin flu plane flu whatever you want to call it and came over to speak to me and I stopped him at about 10 feet and said dont you come anywhere near me boyo. you stay right over their and do not come any closer. so I went to the bretheren boss and ripped him and I said if he stays I'm going. he stayed so I went. Employers have a duty of care and responsibility to their employees including casuals. I was casual and they were full time. go figure.

I get annoyed when people don't practice social distancing particularly at the supermarket.
You'll be looking at something on the shelf and they lean right over you to get what they want.
Common sense isn't very common.
We will continue to see these spot fires happening until (hopefully) a vaccine is developed.

I'm sure you'll be fine Pete.
Apparently it's the amount of time you are exposed which increases your likelihood of contracting it.
A brief encounter much less so.

Guys! In some places there is NO common sense.
I live in Sydney in the Blacktown area.
Try Seven Hills shopping centre. I'll bet there are a ton of places the same.
Wall to wall people no spacing, cough and spit in each others face.

I know it scares people of low intelligence, but I mask and glove up when shopping.
If I get a common cold I am in trouble so no chances taken now.
They take one look AND MOVE AWAY!
There seems to be a perception if you wear a mask you MUST HAVE IT..
What a lot of stupid people, but at least they are not spitting on me!

Double trouble for my Aussie born "Asian" looking friends.
Malay, Phillipino, Japanese, Chinese does not matter.
They feel intimidated by red neck Aussies.
Stared at while shopping, no wonder they prefer to stick to an area with international families like Bella Vista and stay clear of the Blacktown/Seven Hills shopping centres. Some of them are Doctors doing hard graft in practice or hospitals and are gentle hard working people.

Heavens knows what it will be like when people just have to catch the train and go to work in the virus incubators called trains!
I do not understand why the Gov does not at least suggest to wear a mask when in close quarters like transport.
I know aussies don't like to be told, i'm one of them, but common sense dictates it would be nice if people did not spit on you, and that's what even a cheap 30 rated mask can reduce, transmission by cough and spit.

If you see an old guy and lady walking down the street with odd looking green masks on, GET OUT OF THE WAY, its ME and WIFE and we both are going to live to 120! If we don't catch a cold.

Fred.

FRED ,
I keep forgetting to tell you , Years ago I lived at Toongabbie !!!! because I met a Guy who inherited a house and the house was a wreck of place where even a tree had grown through the walls too the inside of one of the bedrooms.. Anyway, I did a deal with him and I moved in there to repair and paint the house. I lived there while I repaired the house . I lived there for just over 1 year, The house only had a fridge and a bed. But it was a chance to save a Bob or two for me . One day I was painting the lounge Room and I became aware of a scratching noise at the front door and porch. I opened the door and there was this Dog with a Torn ear and bleeding Pads on his Feet , So I let him in the house and Ran straight over and stuck his Snoz in my Coffee Cup .. He was only about 1 year old and had been through some type of cruelness. I took him to the vet and got him all fixed up and immunised and took back to the House, Well for the 16 years he slept on the bottom of my bed and no matter where I went the Dog came too.., So 16 years I had him before he died and he was a Wonderful dog and as time went by I had kids and he was great with them as well...He was a Shepard X Kelpie ...... I guess its all different out that way now I've not been there for years , Apart from BT Drive inn markets I use to too ...

We have a Labradoodle and we love him to bits.
I always say man was meant to have a dog.
They are always happy to see you, no matter what.
They say if you lock your wife and your dog in the boot of your car for an hour guess which one will be happy to see you when you open it Wink

We are "dog less" now with the last one passing on at age 17 and we DO miss her antics and no matter what was always glad to see you come in the door.
She was a sort of rescue dog as nobody wanted her from the litter as she had a obvious small hernia. Blue Heeler- Kelpie cross run like the wind, ball mad and rat cunning.
Always would be up for a trip in the ute no matter where but frequently when I went off to purchase stock for my small business she would be eager to come but on VERY HOT days I would say NO Stay. Then I would get a withering look and she would climb into her bed sort of sulking.
Drive to the front gate and get out to open it and naturally would leave the drivers door open, get back into the ute, drive through and then out again to close the gate and then off down the road.
2 or 300M down the road there would be a disturbance on the passenger side floor and this black and silver dog would leap up into the seat next to me with a look of "I am here now so what you gunna do?".

The cunning little pooch would race around the house on the opposite side to the drive and through the garden and lurk near the gate hidden in the shrubs waiting for me to leave the ute to open the gate.
Immediately jump in and lie almost up under the dash with her back to me to be almost totally invisible on a black floor mat and once I was heading off, wait a few moments and then leap into the passenger seat to enjoy the ride.
I never had the heart to go back home and toss her out but had to always find some sort of shade whilst I was parked and leave the windows down a fair bit with her sitting in the drivers seat whilst I was away getting stuff.

I don't think there is a villain around that would attempt to steal a vehicle with a Cattle Dog sitting in the front seat!!!

Very trainable dogs they are and extremely loyal to the family pack but need discipline and careful training so THEY know who is boss !!

The religious folk who wander the streets seeking to convert all they come into contact with never bothered us at all...I guess it was the sight of that black shape lying at the top of the drive with the VERY erect ears was enough to put them off.
