Today I picked up another TV I wanted and a great old 1950s Day of the Triffids Lamp! Lots of Electronic stuff to buy on Market place if your looking for parts or Units ,,I do ok out of it , Plus you can place WTB adds which is how I picked up these 2 Items , I only put the Add on last night ,,,happy Hunting !

Pulled the back off the Telly , Took the Plug off the back of the tube and my 5 year old daughter said there's the gun !!!! hahha Amazing what they absorb from listening to Ian and I speaking about TVs ! Gosh ! You think they are not listening, but they must be !!...

Haha well Pete if nobody talked about this old stuff it would simply be lost to time!
Most kids her age would have never seen a CRT television let alone know what part is the electron gun!
I wonder just how many generations it will take for it all to be a lost art? Hopefully never.
What needs to be saved is CRT production and gun replacement for used tubes
