Seems the only constant in this pandemic is inconsistency. I haven't been to Bunnings for weeks, but I have read in the media about how Bunnings is supposedly controlling numbers of people in stores, and in aisles, however I did wonder how many staff that would require. I guess the situation differs store by store depending on what the staff can manage. Some Bunnings stores have very narrow aisles and it's not unusual for people to push past each other.
Given that so many people are looking for things to do around the house to keep occupied, it doesn't surprise me that places like Bunnings are attracting crowds. I'm staying away from there for the time being.
Road traffic has increased noticeably in the last few days. I get the feeling that people here are gradually thinking "I've had enough of this already". That's certainly the case in the USA where protest mobs are hitting the streets in some states (probably infecting each they while they are at it).

If anything, it'll clean up the streets a little. It is amazing how many people are being stopped for illegitimate travel and they have a boot full of drugs, stolen property, large quantities of cash, etc. Yesterday, it was reported that two cars, each full with teenagers, were involved in a police chase in Liverpool. All but two were refused bail and were scheduled to appear in court today.
https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/four-teenagers-charged-after-police-car-rammed-in-sydney/ar-BB12KsGg?ocid=msedgntp
Then there was another story on 2GB today describing those who decided to hitch up the caravan under the cover of darkness and go on holidays (who knows where - all the van parks are closed to tourists) and they were all gobsmacked when the blue light came over the hill and $1,000 fines started getting handed out. Here's a hint for these fools - the NSW Police Force is a 24 hour operation and they did say they'd be out and about until the curfew is lifted.
I think I mentioned last week that whilst on my bike I noticed the police turning around a conga line of people wanting to launch their boats at the Rhodes boatramp. Here's an example of where the so-called inconsistencies probably lie. You can get on a crowded harbour ferry, with contaminated hand rails for the purpose of going to work or home from work, but you cannot launch your own boat to go for what some would reasonably believe to be the safer option of a harbour cruise. This is because the law doesn't explicitly state that you cannot launch your own boat - it says no non-essential travel in the supported-by-experts belief that the less that people are out of their own domicile, the less chance they have of either picking up the virus or becoming a carrier of it.
As for the legal activity called shopping - the trick is to get there early. I've been to Woolworths, Bunnings, Big W and Jaycar in the last week and didn't have to wait in line. I haven't checked on the bogroll situation for a couple of weeks but I'll get an opportunity to do that tomorrow.

I have a 4.5 metre half cab which is sitting idle as the boatramp is barricaded off with temporary barriers and tape.
I am hoping that if the "Curve" keeps flattening that this will be relaxed.
Since I have no work I may as well go fishing!
