Chatting to a guy about a 1960 TV I was interested in , He Said Oh I turned it on and it went Buzzzzzzzz but the tube did not light up !
Honestly its 60 years old ! Must have shit for brains ....! Common sense would tell you not to turn it on , /

how can people think like this regarding Electrical items that are 60 years old . and are 240 volt ,,not to mention holding DC

Yep ,, crazy .He still thinks he is sitting on a Pot of Gold

I Run Ads all over the place and I get all kinds of people phoning , Mostly its no good , But sometimes I get lucky , but most people have no idea about when things were made , its common for me to get a call about a 1950s TV or item thats from the 1980s

I have been reasonably successful at the local Men's Shed due to some of the "Nice things" we get. No safety inspection: No use; no plug in. do put it in the quarantine box.
