I never did like the show after they moved it and I'm sure I will feel the same regarding the power house.

But here is a old clip of how it use to be.
I'm sure it bring back memories.

The last time I went to the show it was still at the showground at Moore Park, and Channel 7 were showing off Teletext on CRT televisions.

Never been back, and never been to Olympic Park for any reason.

Stopped going to the Easter Show in the 1970s. Grew tired of big crowds. I've been to Olympic Park for numerous events, but not the Easter Show. The parking hassle and cost is a turn off at Olympic Park for me.

For big events, catching the train to Olympic Park is the way to go.

As a kid at the Easter show in the 50s I remember the PA facility for the main arena. STC did the job. Lots and lots of speakers. Very intelligible sound. There was a windowed room, looked like a little weatherboard house, that contained racks of valve amplifiers, all glowing away.
