Wondering if someone could help to identify a speaker cabinet, it is empty & belongs to a friend .

Not one that I recall seeing before. It could be a bespoke enclosure. It's from the era when bespoke furniture was common for radio cabinetry.

Perhaps if there are marks inside & holes in the base that may be a clue as to what was in it. Conventional speakers leave tell tale screw holes & so do reflex horns. If there are holes & green ink stamps, perhaps we need to see them?
