Vintage Pete I wonder if the drought we are experiencing has any impact on prices. The water supply for Tamworth is nearly dried up which has never happened. Further out back is abysmal but Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne gets regular rain which probably insulates us from the effects. Also the mortgage interest rate is at a all time low. People haven't got money. Some of the bigger stall holders at radiofest told me they were at least one third down on their normal sales.

Carl, in country areas it may have I guess, I think the housing drop scared people , plus the fact that the cost of living is so high and wages are not keeping up with it in many sectors . Hell it's a bloody expensive place to live now! !,. See those charity ads on the tellie? For as little as 2 dollars per day you can support a family in Rwanda!! I'm taking the family there to live !! Haha pete
