Jhndragoon, at this time, trading on this site is not permitted. I apologise for the inconvenience but the Wanted and For Sale Forum is under a bit of a redevelopment and there is a temporary non trade rule in place until this work is done.

You should be able to use the much more readily available 6SN7. Plug compatible.

What's the application?

Am I allowed to make recommendations as to where you can get them? Else there's my email address - I don't have any to sell BTW

If a place that has them is known, this can be posted, yep.

I got a couple of 6BV7s (rare and hard to get) from this link last week, they list the 6BL7GTA:

https://www.evatco.com.au/audio-tubes/nos-tubes/

Here is a US source that's always worked for me esp. for TV valves. They list the 6BL7GTA for US$9.95

They are the best solution to drive 2a3 op valves however I have seen 6sn7s as cathode followers used as well. the tube depot is noted however I'm sure some are left over here locally from the b&w TV days I will open up my email address in the tool box.
When Impedance is important!

OK I see what you are doing.

You can't drive them into grid current (and extract max power) with cap coupling so it's either a transformer or cathode followers.

I ran this up on LTSpice a couple of years back and I was pleasantly surprised at what you can get out of a pair of 6BQ5s driven this way. The characteristics of the triodes you use as emitter followers don't matter much, 12AU7s, 6CG7s etc all will work.

I think of a emmiter follower with an ac126 or af117n in circuit but maybe a couple of 6bq5s used as a triodes might work or I might try ecc99 or soviet eqv
