Hello again from Jimb.
Have not been active on this forum for a while but miss the contact with you all. My collection is micro size in comparison to most of you and the truth is I do not have the storage capacity to add to my collection that is one reason. The second reason I obtained another classic car which I was given making two, this one is an 1974 Mercedes 280SE which I have club plated my other is my everyday driver 1969 Hillman Hunter this one is on full rego because it sees a lot of use. The Merc needed a lot of sorting and is now pretty good mechanically unfortunatley I can't say the same for my wallet .So a lot of time has gone into this and the radio buying power has suffered as a consequence. I still have a passion for old radios and hope to get back into it before too long .I still enjoy reading this forum don't tend to comment a lot most of you people have a lot better knowledge base on these old radios than I do,although my background is all electronics and electro/mechanical. For now I will keep reading the forum . Keep up the good work.
Kind Regards Jimb.

Welcome back, Jim. I know the feeling of having a lot of radios and nowhere to keep them. I've had my collection across three places for the last few years but hope to change that soon and have them all back together and on display. I have around 250 mantels but around 15 radiograms and consoles. Many are 20s and 30s classics and do not belong in storage under covers, etc.

Hello Brad. Thank you, that is some collection!
I will try and be a bit more active have been totally absorbed for the last 3 months sorting out the Mercedes.
The next few months will see me absorbed looking after my wife Robin she will be undergoing major spinal surgery on the 7th of August so I will have to learn new skills in patience and tolerance and domestic duties, however having said that I do help her with those duties, not sure how long it will take her to get back to normal. When you get older the recovery time is longer.
Kind regards Jim.
