I just spent 6 days in bed ! So I thought I would warn people who are perhaps not healthy or getting some miles on the clock that perhaps a flu shot is the way to go if your not as healthy as you once were .
Because this year's flu is a nasty bloody thing and it put me in bed for 6 days and I'm not old and I'm reasonably healthy.

I am fortunate that I work for an employer where it is mandatory to be vaccinated for many diseases. I work for a hospital and if it isn't already a NSW Department of Health requirement to be vaccinated for the flu, then it should be.

Some people have strong feelings against vaccinations though I have the benefit of seeing what positive things that vaccinations have done.
