Valve line up is 6V4, 6AQ5, 6BA8, 6BE6, 6AV6.

Once I got the wiring for the volume checked out,
Replaced a few caps of course,
Scratchy pot with burnt out switch replaced
I sounds great now
it really is in good condition for it's age
let's hope it lasts another 60 years
thanks for the help !

Aurther Dungar I was lucky enough to be given one of those sets and I have to agree that they are a real nice sounding set. The guy was trying to sell it on gumtree and he said if he doesn't sell it then he will put it in the skip. I asked him if I could pay the postage and he was actually driving up here from Adelaide so he decided to meet me in the ACT and give it to me. After recapping and cleaning the switches and a donation of a new knob from John Macilwaine it is now in top order.
