Why do people have to do these things. It was once a radio radio that oozed class and style..

Why do people have to do these things.

I guess the answer is 'because they can'. Good luck his getting $750 for that abomination. $75 for the cabinet.

I couldn't agree with you more Fluke175,

Vintage means vintage, no ifs buts maybes.

I one attended an airshow where a Mustang was flying around with a Chevy V8 engine.

Sounded like a flying Chevy. Great, if you love listening to flying Chevs. But I wanted to hear a Merlin V12, bad luck for me. Also saw a
replica (get this) reduced scale Spitfire. AAARRRGGHH.

Don't call it a Mustang! Don't call it a Spit! They are BLOODY FAKES. Same applies to the rest of the total ugly crap that's past-off as
retro/vintage-----fake fake fake!

There, I feel better now.

Enough to make you weep. Abomination could barely describe it.

Cabinet looks like it was given a quick rub over and then some Estapol slopped over it so as to make it look shiny and pretty.
