German stuff is not necessarily well designed. First Blaupunkt / Bosch colour TVs we saw here were absolute rubbish!
But then that could be said about most narrow neck 110 degree Delta designs.

Well this bastard of a set gave me a surprise today. I swapped the EF9 valve out of my Mullard MAS15 to see if the one in this st was bad. Well surprise Surprise the one in the Mullard was bad lol and the one in the Eumig has brought the Mullard to perfection now, no farting or cutting out what a pleasant surprise.
The Eumig will need a bit more time and I am determined to fix it.
