Yep, Aristocrat is still Australian, with a rather large US presence.
Head Office is on the corner of Lane Cove Road and Epping Road at Macquarie Park.

A mate of mine is a systems programmer there, we're always joking that his day is spent playing the pokies Smile

There used to be several poker machine manufacturers in Sydney. One of them was called Nutt & Muddle. True!!

There used to be several poker machine manufacturers in Sydney.

I remember one called Olympic Amusements - they used to make 'card machines' which were a derivative of poker machines and were commonplace in pubs. The odd thing was, the 'cardies' operated more like a poker machine than a poker machine does, offering the chance to throw away bad cards to improve the hand you ended up gambling on.
