I've just seen this on Ebay.

We've all seen and heard the stories of tellies being converted to fish tanks and how horrible, and historically inappropriate these sorts of modifications are. The mod here involves replacing a turntable with a CD player but has apparently left the valve radio intact and has restored the cabinet.

I suppose, at least, this modification is easier to reverse than the TV fish tanks. Let's hope the seller hasn't ditched the turntable. Whilst not rare, these front loaders weren't that commonplace.
