Hi Friends.
I have around fifty of the following manufacturer's badges, that were in with a box of knobs that I bought.

At the time, I thought that they would look nice on un-branded sets. I would, however, like to know the identity of the manufacturer.

The animal at the top of the badge appears, (to me), to be a Kangaroo, clenching a lightning bolt between its teeth.

Thanking all in advance

Wayne.

I see a rectangle saying "Radio Emblem", but no photo.

I have checked the sent folder in my e-mail account, and it appears to have gone through.

I too see the same rectangle.

Wayne.

While the site is under maintenance, I think it's best to email images to Brad, telling him the thread and post # they belong to.

Image uploaded.

Sorry about the delay, which was caused by firewall issues. The firewall started blocking everything for no apparent reason and I had to over-ride it and go through the process of reading all the exceptions on the whitelist. The firewall also blocked Remote Desktop Console which is a critical function for a server and I had to plug a monitor, keyboard and meese into the server to get around that issue. It's been a long day in many ways.

I can't say I've seen that logo before. Initially I thought the symbol at the bottom was Russian but now realise it is a micrometer.

Just my visual memory...

It was non-specific so they could use the same badge on retailer-branded products.

I can't recall ever seeing it before, nor can I find any references to it online.

Hi, thats a real mixture of images.
An animal at the top catching the electricity, sitting on a 7 dentil base.
At the bottom is a micrometer representing the measurement of the electricity.
But the centre really throws me, that's a Christian representation of the 3 crosses.
So you have capture electricity, religion and measurement in one icon.
Very complex and strange.
Fred.

Oh, I guess the seven dentils represent the 7 states of Australia, IE: Australia wide.
And then my wife looked at it and said 'that's 3 swords' and the 7 are the 7 hills of Rome!!
We get in deeper and deeper!

The shape of the shield is called English because it looks like an inverted English late Gothic arch.
The crosses look more like daggers than swords. Daggers were used as symbols for cloak and dagger arms of the services.
So could the badges be services badges rather than radio badges?
