And nice to see Vintage Radio and TV alive again.

I never celebrate New Years Eve.
There always quite ones for me since I was about 25 anyway.
But thank you, and lets all hope we get a less troubled world this year.
2017 had some shocking moments.
Pete

Actually the song I wanted to put on for you ,I could not remember what it was called.
Then this morning I remembered the name of the song
It was called The Dedicated follower of Fashion by the Kinks , I'm sure you would remember the song.
Anyway here it is,

I'm such a Dag, when it comes to clothes. I have one pair of jeans and couple of shirts and when the jeans turn to holes I fork out 100 bucks for anther pair of Levis.I also keep missing the Barber so my hair is long at times and such a uncouth mess I often look like someone you would see back in 1973 driving a $100 vw Kombie.
I tend to always look like I just got out of bed or I have not been to bed !! If you met me you would think I'm im going through a mid life crisis, well if I am? It started 30 years ago!
Such a Dag these days!

$100 for a pair of Levi jeans? You can get them in the USA for around $40 on sale.

Population of USA: 326.6 million (July 2017 est.)

Population of Oz: 23.2 million (July 2017 est.)

Do the retail maths.

Genuine Levis can be bought online here for around $80.

It probably was a bit of a rort, considering the exchange rate of the time. The battler would have been worth about US$1.20 at the time.
