I cant remember where we were putting this info, sorry Brad!

The site dropped out on me at about 1pm in mid stream writing a reply on special projects and took abot 10 minutes of spinning wheels and half connecting before stabilising again, seem ok now.
Fred.

I've had a few 500 type error messages today, too, but only after I make a post. I don't seem get them if all I'm doing is reading posts.

I mainly notice them when navigating back to the topic headings, so that the "already read" topics are no longer bold, after reading and NOT posting a comment.

But it doesn't always happen.

It was here , but now that it's 14 pages, perhaps this new one will do better.

Some web sites, projects, jobs, marriages, cars.
Just go south with a problem and all you can do is keep chasing it up until to you win!
We have all had them ,gosh once I married one!
But in the long run you learn alot along the way and the next project that goes south you just might of already learnt the quick fix to it.
This site is no different.

Hi I just lost a post, I left it spinning its wheels until it defaulted to a "500" message, not found.
I'll watch the cricket instead.
Fred.

.Fred: when that happens, your message text should still be in the browser's buffer, so you can copy it and repaste it in a second attempt a bit later.

You may have to use your browser's back arrow button to retrieve the buffered text.

Yeah Fred, The site is unpredictable and so I copy all my posts as I Type.,because I know its going freeze or go to a 500 error.
I get them every day at the moment, but dont do a disappearing Act Fred we only have about half dozen members that contribute to posts.
There may be 2000 or 3000 people that have joined, but they are not here, its just a few of us on here.
Pete
