Perhaps someone here might know this old song I'm trying to find.
Its 1950s funny song and the father is singing about his son.
Who is just a out of control brat! who de railed the train and he has a gun and he is only a little kid
Its American
Its a comedy song .
And I'm sure its 1950s.
I thought it was called "thats my boy"
But I seem to be wrong about the name.
Not much to go on is it guys !!!
Someone here might remember this song???
I want it for a video I'm making.

Thanks pete

As a kid, my next door neighbour's parents had loads of comical LPs, including those by Freberg, Allan Sherman, Victor Borge and Tom Lehrer, and we'd play them all.

The song that always takes me back to those days is this one which got a ton of radio airplay (volume warning):

During the 50s and 60s it was a real trend happening for funny songs.
Watch Bobby Pickets face when he sings this song in 1962
Just watch is face throughout the song

I like the comment: "this what I look like following my wife around the mall and she has to stop in every shop"

When it comes to radio, we could go on:

One Eyed One Horned Flying Purple People Eater

Witch Doctor

And of course the others he did, such as Lord Mr Ford and When you're hot you're hot.

Yeah, well being a "bitter, twisted fool" is not a recipe for longevity, as Jerry Reed has amply demonstrated, God rest his soul......

Oh yeah thats for sure.
If you let it ,it would eat your soul.
So its best to laugh it off.
Anyway she is so poor ,she doesn't even have a black and white TV set!
