Hi, my good friend acquired this and gave it to me, it appears to be a vintage volt meter, although I think it might measure resistance and capacitance probably as well, although I have no idea how it works and how to use it. I have found a schematic, so am planning on checking out the caps and replacing any electrolytic and paper ones. It appears to be in good order and will hopefully be very useful, however I cannot find any instructions on how to use it, excepting one or two pdf's in a foreign language.
Can anybody help?

I can't help with a manual, but in the past I have used Google Translate to get manuals to English. Tedious, but effective, although technical language does not always translate accurately.

Cheers, Stuart

What language is it in?

I've done a couple of technical manual translations, on one case helped by an initial translation by a non-technical person. I guess Google could fill that role. Maybe I can help?

Technical German is relatively easy to translate, the words are long but very modular, e.g "farbfernseher" and sentences usually have the form "the book on the table is".

The Dutch version is available on a number of sites. Have not found an English translation online.

Hi Jamie,
How did you go with this GM6068? These are a fine VTMM and well worth restoring. I can help you with an English manual if you still need one.
Cheers, Bob

Hi Bob. No, no luck and I've just buried it somewhere in the spare room, but it's in absolutely pristine condition and I'd really like to get hold of an English manual if it's possible. A decent old school VTMM is exactly the type of instrument I could really use when working on valve radios, if only I knew how to use it!
