I need to make another plea to members who send photos for publication to attach the files to their e-mail rather than embedding the images. Attached files are renamed with a script and then uploaded to the server, most often without further changes and this makes the task quick and easy. Files that are embedded in the body of the e-mail require a lot more work on my part and this consumes lots of time, leading to delays with publication.

All good e-mail programmes should have the ability to attach files to messages and this will become the preferred option looking ahead.

Again, in future please attach your photos rather than embedding them.
